In honor of our 5th graders, P.S126x will be having an entire week to celebrate 5th grade Spirit week. Look below to know what you have to bring/ or do on each day. Doctor, lawyer, teacher, etc. Tuesday, June 16th 2015 - Senior Trip! (Medieval Times Trip ) *Prepare to have fun at the castle. Wednesday, June 17th 2015 - Awards Day! *Students will receive special awards for their hard work during this school year. Prepare to walk the red carpet in your fanciest attire! Thursday, June 18th 2015- Crazy Hat And Sock Day! *Create or bring a crazy /outrageous hat this day.
Friday, June 19th- Twin Day! *Find a twin, and dress alike!

Now that we are reaching the end of this school year, it is time to prepare for our graduation ceremony. Please remember, graduation is June 23rd, 2015. Rehersals will be everyday at 8:15am in the auditorium as the graduation date approaches. Also, here are the two songs we will begin to practice as our graduation music. Practice learning the lyrics for the songs and watch the music videos over and over. We will also do this in class. You will receive a copy of the lyrics very soon. 5th graders will learn all about Brazil for Multi- Cultural week at P.S 126, which will be celebrated the week of June 1st -5th of this school year. Our class will focus on popular sports played in Brazil, specifically soccer which we all know Brazil is a world champion for. Dear parents, P.S 126 x will be hosting the 5th grade graduation on June 23rd, 2015. Graduation day is quickly approaching and we need to make sure students are taking responsibility in their school work as well as classwork. Please make sure your child is completing assignments on time, this is important as I will have to make the decision of who is passing and who is not very soon. I will continue to update this blog with more recent information about graduation. I will also like to remind you that senior dues must be paid if you want your child to attend graduation.
Total cost= $125.00, which can be paid by sending cash with your child or a money order. Please pay as soon as possible, if you haven't already done so.
Estimados padres, La escuela P.S 126 estara celebrando la graduacion del 5to grado el 23 de junio del 2015. Esta fecha se esta acercando rapidamente, y debemos asegurarnos que los estudiantes este completando trabajos de la clase y tareas. Es importante que su hijo/a este completando los trabajos a tiempo, ya que estare tomando la decision de quien pasa al 6to grado y quien no muy pronto. Estare informandoles mas datos de este evento por este medio. Me gustaria recordarles que el costo de la graduacion es $125.00. Esto incluye la capa y toga, libro de autografos, camisa de graduados-clase 2015, paseo de fin de año y baile de graduados. El dinero puede ser enviado con su hijo/a en efectivo o por money orden.
