Learning English / Aprendiendo Ingles

Learning English can be hard, especially if you are new to the country. Students are receiving ESL classes in school on Wednesday and Thursdays 2:30-4:30pm. We are also continuing to practice everyday English skills in our home classroom. As an effort to help you continue to practice the language, I found some websites that can help you.

Aprender ingles puede ser dificil, especialmente si eres Nuevo/a en el pais. Los estudiantes de la clase estan recibiendo clases de ESL (ingles como Segundo idioma) los miercoles y jueves de 2:30-4:30pm. Tambien seguimos practicando todos los dias, con repeticion, actividades y mucha lectura. Aqui encontrara paginas para ayudarte a seguir aprendiendo ingles.

Math Games / Juegos de matematicas

 

Math is everywhere we go, even out of school. When we visit the supermarket, go to the store, need change, etc. It is important that you practice math everyday. Here are some cool math game website I found to help you practice at home. I will also pick students to use our classroom computer to practice math here too.

Las matematicas estan en todas partes, incluso fuera de la escuela. Cuando visitas un supermercado por ejemplo, vas a la tienda o necesitas cambio. Es importante que practique las matematicas todos los dias. Aqui puedes encontrar algunas paginas de juegos de matematicas que puedes utilizar en casa. Como premio, estare escogiendo a algunos estudiantes a usar nuestro computador del salon para seguir practicando con estos juegos.
